SAVE the DATE! The annual Mexican Pile-up dinner will be on Saturday, March 24th 2012, starting at 6:30 p.m. followed by a live auction. A sign-up sheet for the food is posted on the WOTM bulletin board. If anyone would like to donate items for the auction, please contact a WOTM officer. About once a month the Moose Legion sponsors a lodge clean-up day. We usually start at 8am and it ends about noon or a little later. This event is open to any lodge member, WOTM or lodge candidate. In the future a list of projects for the day will be posted in the lodge so you will know what project you want to work on and bring the proper tools. The Moose Legion will provide beverages after the work is done and will also serve some type of hot lunch for the workers. The Moose Legion does this so that all of the members can have a clean and safe environment to enjoy. It also saves the lodge quite a bit of expense. So, check the events calendar for the date of the clean-up day and come out a have some fun, food and beverages while helping the lodge look good and operate safely.

During the General Membership Meetings on the 1st Wednesday night of the month we conduct a drawing to award a sum of money that could reach as much as $200. The amount starts at $25 and progresses up to the maximum amount of $200. The Board of Officers, in an effort to encourage membership attendance at the enrollment meeting on the 3rd Wednesday night, decided to conduct the drawing then also. The only catch is you must be present to win!

I don’t know about you but free money sounds good to me! All you have to do is attend the enrollment meeting, not too much to ask is it? Not only do you have a chance to win, but more than that, you will show your support for our new members.
